A scan is a picture of text. Run OCR PDF first to recognise the words, then edit or add text boxes over it.
Will the edited text use the same font?
The editor uses the closest standard font at the same size and colour. Uncommon fonts are replaced by a similar one.
Can I edit Hindi or Kannada text?
You can read and annotate PDFs in any language. Typing new text in Indian scripts is not supported yet.
Is AK Smarts PDF safe for confidential files?
Yes. Files are opened and processed on your own computer or phone and are never uploaded to our server. Only e-Sign sends a short fingerprint of the document, never the document itself.
Does Edit PDF work on my phone?
